Valentine’s love dinner // at home

I absolutely love Valentine’s Day, and every year growing up my parents would have a “love dinner” with me and my brother. It’s always so difficult to make reservations and plan to go out, so they chose to have a nice dinner at our house. We would all dress up and cook and decorate the house, so it felt so special. I put together some ideas if you want to have a “love dinner” too.

We always have a pretty table set up with heart plates and gorgeous flowers and sweet gifts/cards, so these were a few things I found that I thought resembled what we usually do. I also found some cute pieces for a Valentine’s Day outfit, whether you stay in or go out. I love all of them, but I think my two favorites are the black heels with the red sequin heart on the back and the silk scarf that has red hearts. Pasta is probably my favorite food, so I feel like it makes the perfect Valentine’s main course, and chocolate covered strawberries are always a must for dessert (although chocolate molten lava cakes are a V-day favorite in my house).
