messy bun // knotted

Hi lovelies!! I posted a picture a little while ago on instagram of a hairstyle I wear all of the time, and several people wanted to know how I did it, so that’s the what today’s post is all about. Messy buns are my favorite because they’re a quick easy way to get my hair out of my face. But since I wear them so often, I sometimes like to switch up the technique instead of always just throwing it up and hoping for the best.

summer scents

I definitely have a thing for perfume, and my collection has become quite large. There are a few scents that I have acquired that are absolutely perfect for summer, and I figured this is the perfect time to share them.

#1 Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara. I absolutely love this mascara. I have the large size as well as the travel size, so I can take it with me on trips as well as use it daily. I love the volume and length it adds to my lashes, and I especially love how dark it makes my lashes appear. I am so glad I came across this mascara because I became totally addicted!

#2 Philosophy Hands of Hope hand cream. Especially in the dry heat where I live, my hands get quite dry, so good hand cream is a must for me. I actually keep this lotion right next to my bed and apply it before I go to sleep. It is so soothing, but not too oily or thick, so it feels great on my hands.

#3 Burt’s Bees Chapstick. This stuff is a miracle worker. Am I the only one out there that sometimes feels like chapstick ends up drying out my lips even more than they were before applying chapstick?? There are very few chapsticks I think actually work but this is my absolute favorite.
