New Orleans // 48 hour travel diary

I spent my first week of May on a cross-country road trip (will recap more of the trip stops and trip tips in a post soon), but for now I wanted to share all of the fun things we did in New Orleans, Louisiana. There are tons of very things to do in NOLA, but these were some of my top places to eat and explore. IMG_0483.JPGThe FRENCH QUARTER is the top place I would recommend wandering through. There are lots of different shops (including VOODOO stores and unique boutiques) that are fun to see. I also really enjoyed all of the balconies that overlooked the streets and pretty doorways. Within the french quarter is also JACKSON SQUARE. It’s not too large, but definitely worth walking through and seeing. There is a gorgeous church on one side, and a view of the Mississippi on the other. And the best part about the French Quarter is that there are always very talented musicians on every corner and balcony that fill the streets with beautiful music.
